Welcome Wildcats!
Dear Wilson families,
Welcome back Wilson Wildcats to the 22-23 school year. I am so thrilled about the beginning of a fresh, bright, new school year! We are committed more than ever to providing a consistent, supportive, positive, meaningful, and caring learning environment for all students.
I am so proud to continue to collaborate with the staff and families of Wilson to support our students’ social emotional, academic, and personal goals. We will focus on social emotional learning and community building this year as we continue to build our resilience as a staff and community. Wilson Wildcats are kind and now is the time to expand our critical thinking and communication skills as we continue to emphasize restorative problem solving and building strong, respectful relationships. These skills will enable us to bounce back through challenging times and accomplish important learning goals.
As a parent and community member, please make an ongoing commitment to partner with us. Our Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is an amazing group of parent leaders who support our school programs and they are always looking for members to participate and support their mission. Our English Learner Advisor Committee (ELAC) and School Site Council (SSC) are very important groups that are essential to Wilson who provide feedback and suggestions on Wilson programs. Please consider participating in these groups. We would love to partner with you!

I am always happy to talk or schedule a meeting. Student safety, well-being, and learning are our top priorities. I am here to support the students, teachers, and staff and to collaborate with families to ensure these priorities are consistent.
